Based on the feedback and experience over the past few months we have slightly amended the good behaviour policy.
 
It will now be a Chatroom and message board behaviour policy that will be used. Most of it comes natural for most people, but a small group seems to have problems finding their internal borders so here it is:
 
1. No personal attacks and details. No racial, religious, sexual, or sexual preference slurs.
 
2. No postings/chat that will damage the reputation of the site. Including but not limited to: public accusations of player 'cheating', denegration of moderators or admins.
 
3. No poor sportsmanship.  Including but not limited to: intentionally stalling, intentionally disconnecting, or chasing as defined in ISF Rules , Section 11.
 
4. No overuse of profanity or intentional attempts to bypass the built-in profanity filter.
 
5. Players must comply to the best of their ability with reasonable moderator requests/instructions.  If a player feels a request is not reasonable, he still should comply, but may afterwards send an email reporting the incident to admin@metaforge.net or a private message   in this forum to the admin account.
 
6. Gameplay is governed by ISF Rules, including the right to request an arbiter (moderator) if one is available.
 
The Admins can be contacted if players seem to go against those rules and appropriate action may be taken at any time.  Users failing to comply with rules will receive warnings including but not limited to: temporary chat block, temporary play block, and/or temporary account closure as appropriate pending admin review.  Upon review, or in emergency to preserve the site, actions may be taken up to and including account closure and banning from the site for truly serious offenses.

Just so we're clear, we will be enforcing rule #1 heavily in regard to pro-gay/anti-gay commentary.  Any such public arguments, whether in the chat room or message board, will result in a mod or admin instructing the parties to either stop or take it person-to-person private.  Failure to do so will result in loss of chat and or posting privileges.
