gk/Flyers: I think there is some confusion. Lab4 beat sekertzis to go up 2-0. gk beat flyers to tie the match at 2-2. The first tiebreak is either Lab4 vs gkaros or flyers vs sekertzis, with the decision being made by the winner of the first match: Lab4. So, if Lab/Flyers decided that the tiebreak was flyers vs sekertzis, and this game was played, and the result was Flyers won, then the match is over. Lab4/Flyers won 4-2.

Is this correct?

I checked the games and dates/times in the results record. It is clear that Lab4/Flyers7 won the match and advance to the next round.

It appears to me that the rules are different than I initially understood.

The initial concept was that play would proceed as A vs A and B vs B, then A vs. B or B vs. A for tiebreaker, based on the decision of the winner of the first game.

Re-reading the rules after Blas' post confirms that he is correct, not me.

The ruling will need to come from McLovin on this. I still believe that the result should stand based on the record of games played and documented in the sense of fair play.

That makes no sense. If seke had beat me, I guarentee gkaros would have no argument with the result.

if you and Seke agreed in public or private chat that it was a tournament game, then it is over.
in other case, the tie break has to be played.

This is nonsense and I know McLovin will have the common sense here.

Let me write it this way.

Lab4 beats Seke 2-0
gkaros beats Flyers 2-2
Flyers beats Seke 4-2

Even if gkaros beats Flyers it is 4-4.

But why should we give another chance?

gkaros was clearly avoiding the game as I chatted him if he was the tiebreaker and he ignored me (and was not idle) so I went on and played Seke assuming he was the one who would play the tiebreaker.

It is common sense here. Gkaros finally comes out of the woodwork when he see's his pal Seke get beat. If Seke beat me, gkaros would have no problem.

I would publicly like to declare for all that moving on in this tournament is a real drag. Nights are intended to be whittled away at the bottom of a cheap bottle of well gin. Not indulging some fantasy about being good at stratego.

For our next opponents, please dispose of an old drunk in due fashion so I can resume the slow but satisfying journey into drunken oblivion. Thank you. Sobriety is a pregnant dog.

Just tried to play game with Buffwheat and he refused to play saying there was a deadline that I missed? What deadline? Where is this posted? All I see from Butt in the forum is 1 post with typical insulting post asking where I was? Hardly an effort? Clearly he is begging for a default forfeit now seeing that he is dodging me when we finally meet. I can play anytime this weekend.

When/where did Buttwheat post his availability?? I see nothing.

the following games were voted on by 4 mods. The teams that have been voted to be put through the next round was based on 4 peoples opinions on who made the most effort and time to play the unplayed game before the deadline.

Flyers7 vs Gkaros...............team Flyers7/Lab4 progress due to flyers7 making more effort to get the game played within the timescale.

Spacemanspiff vs Buttwheat........team buttwheat/mclovin progress due to Buttwheat making more effort to get the game played within the timescale. ( I DID NOT VOTE ON THIS GAME).

maxious vs queensburykid......team ODHGOS/maximous progress due to maximous making more effort to get the game played within the timescale.

Also after our first match i asked flyers to play the tiebreaker but he run out of meta like a rabbit. (no gg etc).
After that there were some silly messages from this guy that he played seke etc cause it was the only way to pass the round (without playing me).

Sorry guys, but besides your decision is illegal and discriminatory, you are rewarding immature and unfair behaviours.

I want the people who voted to pass flyers to explain with arguments (like i did before) their decision in order to convince me.

I am waiting for your replies, in the meanwhile i assume your decision invalid. Dont want to write more now
