Calling for Commish and Buttwheat to help you with this dilemma is pointless since they both are not known for their defense strategies. I noticed you called on me first for help so I will reply to your request as I am honored to be asked. The lotto player is reducing his strategy to this pathetic attempt to win based on one of two factors: He (or she) has no preconceived strategy and is blindly looking for success or is desperate to try anything after being destroyed. While I don't have any respect for the first type of player, I can certainly empathize with the second due to being in that position a few times in my long lasting career here.(for those panty-wipes that don't know who I am, I am the ORIGINAL Metaforge player, dating back to 1997 when most of the players here were simply nut-aches in their daddys jewel sack) You see Drippy, the problem with your game is you're good. A player that has a strong advantage early in the game, say under 100 moves, will be forcing his or her opponent into such drastic measures and you should expect lotto. Using your bombs gingerly throughout the board will help dissuade the player from attempting such a pathetic attempt next time they play you. I routinely encountered these lotto-attempts after amassing an early lead and in those games I may change tactics to a more defensive strategy in order to prolong the victims pain. I am in essence toying with the doomed neophyte simply to overstate my superior skills and to humiliate him. Commish and Buttwheat, whom you referred to earlier may recount their days of playing with me and witnessing first hand the prolonged agony of having my defensive mastermind anticipate their lotto attempts and wind up watching them leave in fury and second guess their ability to further go on in this game. They all succumb to my defensive superiority and now have the scars to prove it. My advice to you is to either step on the gas after gaining a strong advantage early on and reduce your opponent to a sniveling fart-sniffer. Conversely if you choose to continue the game without the charge, you MUST expect a lotto tactic and in that case you must then fall back, become more defensive and slow the game down. You will be fine in either case but just know that we are in a very select group here: Masterminds. While I wont go so far as to compare other players here to my clearly overwhelming talent, I will say that you and Lightwing are certainly leaders in the game of STRATEGO. Let Hasbro sue me, BFD!!!! To the rest of you that are reading this post be warned: I have not left or retired. I have merely focused on other things in life other than a game site. However in the very near future you will all have the chance at sitting at the table with the Master in order to gain knowledge. I will be happy to teach you all my winning ways WITHOUT having to reduce to the chicken-sh1t antics of LOTTO. And for the record, I was the one that coined the phrase LOTTO after a long-gone-by-now player used that tactic against me, only to step on a few bombs and seal his fate. MAD MAX: RIP FPN
