my initial thought was 2 games per week with 2 different opponents. so far most of the interested parties are on quite frequently. 3 per week could be a burden on some. i was thinking of somewhere around a 25 game season, so that would wrap up in around 12 weeks (3 months). the entire league schedule will be available at the beginning of the season, but in the interest of keeping everyone on the same page, i want the games to flow evenly.  
 
as far as getting ranked, that still depends on division format. i'm still leaning towards random divisions, so rank wouldn't matter. unless i'm convinced otherwise, i think we are going to go with random divisions.

But we must establish a flexible system to conduct the games, and is not very demanding, because otherwise the problems will soon leave.
 
I think a small payment is almost necessary to avoid the typical player who signs up and then does not put an effort.
 
  3 games / 2 weeks may be fine. With the possibility of advancing games if the players agree.
 
If players commit to an effort, I think it will, would not necessarily be a problem.
 
I think players who register and then do not play, as we saw in the third place match in the doubles tournament, should be punished for not participating in other tournaments, at least for a while. This would be a deterrent to prevent such actions in the future.
